Fundraisers

All of our upcoming fundraisers can be found on the calendar or in the drop down menu for this page.

While the root word of fundraiser is “fund” we try to make it “fun”!

Oakmont Men’s Soccer needs the help of generous people, like yourself, to operate every season. While the school provides the necessities that allow us to play (coaches, fields, officials), our main funding comes from fundraisers and donations. The Men’s Soccer Booster Club is a part of the Oakmont Parents Club, a non-profit, and we are allowed to use their non-profit tax ID to raise funds directly for our soccer teams.

Our booster club and coaches do not believe in a pay to play mentality. We want every player who makes the team to be able to play without needing to open their wallets to keep the program going. We will hold several fundraisers during the season, and after to offset the cost of putting on a well run high school sports program.

Where do donations go?

Donations and proceeds from fundraisers go directly to the Men’s Soccer Booster Club Bank Account. The school keeps none of it. These funds help pay for new equipment like water jugs, soccer balls, nets, corner flags, shade/rain structures, socks, and other items used regularly that need replacement from time to time. Each year we honor our seniors at our last home game of the year with flowers for their parents, signs for the players, and the end of year banquet where we honor all the player and coaches, and the coaches have a handful of awards they hand out. The banquet dinner is provided by the Booster Club funds as well and families of the players are all invited to attend. Occasionally the teams need new uniforms. We save up for these expenses as new uniforms for one team can cost between $2000 and $4000.

What do we need?

This year we are raising funds for the following items:

  • End of year banquet – $2500
  • End of year awards – $500
  • Coach Appreciation Gifts – $200
  • Long Sleeve Uniforms – $2000

What can you do?

It’s easy. Please support your players. Help them understand the importance of supporting their team and their school. Share any and all fundraisers with family, friends, and members of the community. Check back to our web site to see what else we are doing throughout the year. Want to help out, but not bother with fundraisers directly, as a non-profit, we can receive funds directly at the address listed below, or through the PayPal Donate Now button at the bottom of every page on this website.
